HOME >> BRIDAL SHOWERS >> TRIVIA BRIDAL SHOWER GAMES Bride and Groom Trivia Bridal Shower GamesSome of these games require preparation in advance, so plan ahead! Groom Trivia Shower GameSupplies: index cards, Hershey’s Kisses, pens/pencils for guests, prizes for guests (could be Jumbo Hershey’s Kisses or any other appropriate prize – be prepared for multiple winners). Before the bridal show, make up a list of 15 questions for the groom and get his answers – make sure he knows not to tell his fiancé in advance! Put each question and the groom’s answer on an index card. Here are some Groom Trivia Bridal Shower Game questions you might use:
At the bridal shower, read the questions to the group before asking the bride. This can be done before the bride gets there, or you can let her hear the questions before she has to answer them. Have each guest write down on a card their own names and how many answers they think the bride will get right. Collect the cards.
Next is the official questioning of the bride. After she answers, read out loud the groom’s answer. For each answer she gets right, give her a Hershey’s Kiss (she shouldn’t eat them yet!). After she’s finished answering each question, count the Hershey’s Kisses and find each guest’s card that has the correct answer (the same as the number of Kisses for the bride’s right answer). Award the guest prizes you’ve prepared to each winning guest. Bride Trivia Shower GameSupplies: Copies of your questions (without answers), or paper to write down answers if you plan to read the questions out loud (they should be numbered in this case, and pens/pencils, bridal shower game prizes for guests. Similar to groom trivia above, but this is to find out how much the guests know about the bride. In advance, have the bride answer a list of 15 or 20 questions about her favorite things. Questions could include:
Either read the questions out loud and have bridal shower guests write down answers (noting question numbers on their sheets), or pass out copies of the questions for the guests to fill in the answers. Guests should put their names on their answer sheets. Collect the answers, and during another activity, have someone “grade” them on how many they got right. Reassemble the guests after the papers are “graded.” Read the questions to the guests again, this time telling them the bride’s answers. For the guests who got the most right, award bridal shower game prizes.
